Gerd Schumacher

Born in 1960, grew up in Cologne;
Banker, law studies at the Universities of Wuerzburg and Munich, postgraduate judicial traineeship in Berlin and Rome; admitted to the bar in 1991. Since 1996 employed in several enterprise-consulting law firms such as Schuermann & Partner in Berlin and Milan (1995 -1997) and at last Andersen Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, Cologne (1998 – 2001). Since 2002 Partner and Founder of the cologne branch of Ihde & Partner Rechtanwaelte.
Gerd Schumacher advises companies and business clients in the fields of contract law , company law and tax law. In particular his work involves project- and claim-management, predominantly real estate and cross-border tax law.
A significant part of his clients have an international background, most notably to Italy and China (People’s Republic, Hong Kong, Taiwan). He advises German-Italian cross-broder clients as well as Italian enterprises and institutions in Germany.
Membership: Active member of the German-Italian juridical-association and the Chinese-German juridical-association.
