Computer and video games are a well-established and still fast-growing sector of the media and entertainment industry. Computer games have already overtaken the movie industry in terms of business volume quite a few years ago. Cross-media strategies can hardly be imagined without them. Frequently, computer games are the driving force behind innovations both in hardware and software technology. New business models and overlap with the conventional Web 2.0 may tap into new markets and an entirely new target audience.<\/p>\n

A number of special regulations apply to the medium of computer games. Dealing with computer games not only requires specialist legal know-how but also a high level of experience in the games industry. This applies equally to the development, sales, exploitation and financing of games.<\/p>\n
